Dr. Tracie Miller, PhD, CPA, is an educator, author, and leader shaping the future of accounting. With experience at Deloitte and top universities, she brings academic depth, industry insight and a passion for innovation to every learning experience.
A seasoned accounting educator and leader, Dr. Tracie Miller blends academic rigor with real-world insight. With a PhD in Education & Human Development and an MS and BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M, she currently steers Franklin University’s MS and BS Accounting programs.
Prior to her current role, Tracie served as Assistant Department Chair at Austin Community College and held faculty roles at UC Berkeley Extension, UT‑Austin, Texas State and Aims Community College.
Her industry roots run deep—starting at Deloitte Tax and evolving into dynamic educator roles—all while authoring leading accounting textbooks for Pearson. She’s an active voice in shaping the profession, with presentations on Excel, data analytics, automation and diversity topics via AAA, TXCPA and CPE forums.
