Mark D. Lee, JD, CPA, is former Deputy General Counsel at AIG Life & Retirement and a past chair of TXCPA. With deep expertise in tax law and accounting, Mark brings legal insight and leadership to the profession. He holds a JD and a BBA in Accounting.
A tax attorney and CPA, Mark Lee brings deep expertise in tax law, corporate governance and financial regulation to AcctoFi. He previously served as Deputy General Counsel at AIG Life & Retirement and has held numerous leadership roles in both legal and accounting circles.
A past chairman of the Texas Society of CPAs and former president of the Houston CPA Society, Mark has long championed professional excellence and diversity in the field. He earned his BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and his JD from the University of Houston Law Center.
